Our newly designed gourmet restaurant, the Ostseelounge, offers an exclusive seven-course menu, complemented upon request by a perfectly matched wine pairing from our sommelier. With a maximum of 20 seats, we guarantee an unforgettable atmosphere.

Eight pans and an upward arrow for the Baltic Sea lounge at Strandhotel Dünenmeer. The renowned gourmet review platform recognizes Christopher Huhnstock-Kerber’s cuisine for its clear structure, excellent craftsmanship, and exceptional creativity. Accompanied by sommelier Bettina Huhnstock-Kerber, guests enjoy delightful menus – in a unique seaside location.
“ With the “old” Ostseelounge on the roof of the Strandhotel Fischland, the Baltic Sea resort of Dierhagen, also the gateway to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, already had one of the top gastronomic addresses in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Especially under the aegis of then head chef Pierre Nippkow, the cuisine offered here was of a high standard, but even under his successors, the cuisine was always well above average. Last year, the move to the sister hotel Dünenmeer, just one and a half kilometers away, was completed and a change of concept was announced. This change, however, did not involve the feared “downgrading” but can be considered a clear resurgence, at least since Christopher Huhnstock-Kerber took over as head chef. “

Kitchen style
Christopher Huhnstock-Kerber’s culinary style is characterized by Nordic accents and original flavor combinations. Our chef prefers to use products from the Baltic Sea region, but also looks beyond the water and our own borders to find exciting new products of the highest possible quality and showcase them creatively. To ensure consistency at the highest level, close personal contact with suppliers is maintained.
